Eco-Internships Youth Support and Training Program
With Support From RBC
Eco-Internships and the Ottawa Peace and Environment Resource Centre has recently received a gift from the RBC Foundation to host our reputable and sought after Youth Support and Training Program! We are looking for youth between the ages of 19 - 29 who want to enhance their experience and career development skills in order to secure work in the environmental sector. By registering participants will be enrolled in a training course on key skills and topics necessary for the workforce.
This includes:
Governance,
Financial Management,
Volunteer Engagement and Management
Communications and Marketing,
Relationship and Network Building,
Project Development and Management; and so much more.
All of these subjects will enhance transferable skills and translate to a stronger resume that stands out to employers! Additionally each participant will be matched with a mentor to coach and guide them in their employment journey.
Although the program is sponsored thanks to the RBC Foundation, spots are limited and the program is very competitive! If you or anyone you know is struggling with employment in the sector, please contact [email protected] to secure your spot before they fill up!
