Networking is the process of connecting and building relationships with people for professional purposes. In general, networking is a great way to help with your personal and professional growth through providing new opportunities, ideas, and connections. With that in mind, we encourage people to join us for a virtual evening of networking with professionals from across the Canadian coastal non-profit and charitable sector. Whether you're interested in restoration, ocean education, or environmental conservation, this event is perfect for making new connections and expanding your professional circle.
The full session will be an hour long and include a brief introduction then participants will have the opportunity to network in smaller groups that will rotate every 7-10 minutes. In these breakout rooms, participants will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and engage in conversation relating on a variety of topics including working in the environmental non-profit sector. Staff from Sea Change Canada and our network will be floating around the breakout rooms to help facilitate conversation and ensure there is equal participation. Additionally, during the session we will have a sign-up sheet available for people to add their names, titles, and LinkedIn to encourage building those connections long after the event.
Connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and potentially discover new opportunities. Don't miss out on this chance to expand your professional network!
